Would you listen to The Bundy Murders: A Comprehensive History again? Why?
Yes, I have listened to it more than a few times now. I go back to it often because it’s told in a way that brings the events to life.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Bundy Murders: A Comprehensive History?
I’d always heard that Bundy was a careful killer who was so smart that he outsmarted the police. While that was true sometimes, sometimes he also took targets of opportunity and just plain got lucky more than once.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The two times Bundy failed to satisfy his inner demon, he totally lost his cool and had to find targets. He slid down from the cool calculating killer to a rapid crazed lunatic.
Any additional comments?
Since reading this, I’ve read a bunch of stuff on Bundy, including Ann Rule’s book. I come back to this one most often.
