This is Grace Hamilton’s 5th installment in the EMP Lodge series. This is a series that you really need to read or hear from the start to understand the characters or most of what is going on in this audiobook will not make sense. The Lodge group is trying to save baby JJ and once again Megan is being a Martyr trying to do everything and blaming herself for Jacks death and the only way to redeem herself will be to save the baby. No matter the cost. On a return trip from hunting for medications for the baby, they find a wounded soldier with a mysterious box that needs to go to the National Recovery Unit near Ravenna which just so happens to have the best of everything in doctors and equipment. So the group splits up to take the baby and the box to the NRU while the others stay at the lodge. This is a pretty good series with plenty of action. The characters are well developed. I highly recommend it.
Andrew Tell narrates again and does an awesome job. It is so nice to have the same narrator through a whole series.
