Absolutely loved this series by C. Hallman. I’m a dark romance girlie and love me some bullying. I know others may not like that, so if that’s you, you shouldn’t read this book.
Aspen and Quinton are an enemies to lovers?, bully romance, turned to happily ever after. But they have quite the journey to ge there. Enemies to lovers?? Never necessarily think that they truly hated one another, more so that Q just needed someone to take his anger out on, so he chose her because he couldn’t attack her dad from where he was. Slowly, but surely, Q finds that Aspen is a genuine girl who enjoys reading and has the biggest heart; but also saved his sister from some bad happenings, which softens his heart even more to her. Some touch her and d!3 vibes going on for sure and he becomes rather protective of her very quickly. He teaches her important things to protect herself when he can’t be seen with her and he puts out protection on her always. Some bad things happen to Aspen and that only makes him take those people out and become even more protective of her. A good read, but can be a triggering one, so please read trigger warnings ahead of time!!
Loved listening to the voices of Zara Eden and Connor Brown and would absolutely love to listen to more titles from them! Voices are very aesthetically pleasing and fit the bill of the book perfectly.
