Fun and enjoyable, solid dungeon core story with an actual plot and characters with defined personality. A big part of these is the ‘progression’ arc which this book has in spades – although the world obviously runs on video game logic, some of the ‘mechanics’ feel a bit gratuitously over designed or refrences can be shoe horned in (NPC -> Non Philosophically Conscious —blegh)
The narration is exceptional though. Two voice actors one for the narrator and female characters and one for male characters, both of whom are stand out performers who bring a distinctive voice for every charcter that makes for an engaging listen.
I’d reccomend using an audible credit on this one to give the series a shot and if you like it pick the other two up cash to show support to the author and production
