I really loved all the characters*. The girls were fun and wonderful, the antique store was super cool as a front and legit business. I super love how the world is built. having the hunters working behind the scenes of the norm world is something a lot of authors do but I really liked how the author made the story flow so well. I loved angels bestie being brought into the group and working at the shop. I thought the powers angel had and grew into more and more were so cool and of course d’angelo and Christian having powers was cool too. the snark and humor was really fun too.
the narration was really good with lots of emotion drawing you into the story!
*The main characters D’angelo / D vs Angel / Ansel name kerfuffle was really distracting and took a little bit away from the story. I really disliked D’Angelo renaming angel it felt weird to me. I would have liked him to use angels last name or middle name instead I think it was how overly similar the three names were but also all were used all the time making it especially when listening to thr audiobook hard to keep track of who’s who.
