Aside from the narration I really loved this story and will definitely get the next! First time I’ve read/listened to anything from this author and I’m so glad I found her because I really enjoyed this and cant wait to get the next one!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED that it was the incredibly hot rockstar chasing after the unknown regular hot guy! Like panting after him and I freaking ate it up!!! Love it when the one who “could have anyone” is the one openly pursuing the other!!♡♡ Also, I love when thats the one who gets all jealous and growly and possessive (not in a toxic way, just a normal human “hes mine” sort of way).
Im not a fan of the narrator who performed Luca. He does so many audiobooks and I’ve had to dnf every single one. What’s maddening is I listened to YouTube clips of both of these narrators (to try and determine which one I specifically dislike to make sure I note the name this time to avoid in the future) and they both have decent voices in real life, which means this guy goes out of his way to sound like a geriatric man who’s wheezing through every word he speaks. It makes it so much worse! Neither were a good fit for 2 characters who are supposed to be fairly young and super sexy. Both are great voice actors, its just their voices that dont fit….at all.
