…she knows how to stir the deep seated hope in all LGBTQ people that there is someone, the perfect someone, waiting for you out there. I’ll always love her for that and her characters sing that truth. This was not my favorite of her works to be honest, but, as always, it’s lovingly written and Aubrey and Patrick are well drawn, fleshed out characters who are real and relatable. But, it wasn’t as exciting as her other works. I do love Joel Leslie as the narrator, though. Could listen to him all day. 3/5.
