The second book in the Shadow Master series is a second dose of Shadow Jack’s antics and just as fun. This time around we get to play around in the superhero sandbox, and he goes just as wild if not more so than in the fantasy realm. Loved the breaking the fourth wall stuff, and the great back and forth the writer and narrator get to have in this one.

The narration by Jeffrey Kafer is great, and I can’t imagine anyone else voicing the Shadowmaster. He does all of the sarcasm and snark very well, and has good voicing for all of the supporting cast as well.

Jackson deals with personal issues and the people always out to try and take him down. There is lots of fun to be had in this book, and if you enjoyed the first book or superhero books you should check this out.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
