This audiobook is perfection! The voices fit perfectly, and I can’t wait to listen to more as the series continues and brings these characters to life even more. Highly suggest grabbing this one.
This is MercyAnn Summers’ debut book, and you honestly aren’t going to want to miss this one!
The humor is on the dark side, so that might not hit for some people, but I found myself really enjoying it, and the banter between the two main characters. They’re definitely that pairing that bicker like a married couple in all the best ways.
The story might confuse you in the beginning, but that’s because you don’t know what the main character doesn’t. It all comes together, and when it finally does, you’ll be like, “Oh my gosh, how did I not see that coming?” And THEN she hits you with the cliffhanger. So, so good, and I can’t wait for book two!
