This lit rpg was difficult to move to coming from The Land series. The lit rpg elements are not as detailed, and it’s a bit darker and more bleak in the beginning.
That said, once you get into the story, the other elements become progressively more enjoyable. The main character is an unapologetic ass who has a strong mind and will, but is crippled emotionally and struggles with that. it leads him to make interesting choices morally.
By the time I finished the story, I was very sad to see the next installment not available yet.
