Villians Pride: The Shadow Master, Book 2 by M.K. Gibson is just one of those series you are either going to love or hate. Not a whole lot of middle ground here. I personally love the character of Jackson Blackwell The Shadow Master. The story is as good if not better than the first audiobook. Hell, the fact there were 2 prologues to decide what to do in the book had me honestly laughing out loud on my daily walk. If that tidbit does not pique your interest how about a Quarterly Meeting of the gods and The Shadow Master is made to sit at the kiddie table, with King Stan Lee. I am sure it was spelled differently in the ebook for various reasons. This was just fun. I would say if you enjoyed the first book this is a must have audible purchase.

The narration was done by Jeffrey Kafer. Anyone who has heard his work knows he has a great voice and does awesome worked that is without a doubt and never in question. But when the main character breaks the 4th wall rewrites on the fly as the narrator is reading the script 2 thumbs up to Mr. Kafer for playing along. Just make sure you listen to the end if you get this audiobook book for the narrators ending credits. I don’t know it that it was written or off the cuff but it was pure genius and I was laughing so hard I almost tripped myself walking.
