Let me get this out of the way “I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review”.
Never have I listen to book and been terrified to leave a review, until now!! I will do my best to stay on Mr. Gibson’s good side…
If you’re considering listening to the Shadow Master books please heed my warning.
If you’re one of those people who think animals have the same rights as humans, wear Birkenstock sandals, carry “make love not war” signs, have hugged or thought about hugging at least one tree do us all a favor and skip listening to this book. You will undoubtedly find yourself offended at some point and need to run to your “safe place” before your snowflake ass melts into a pool of saltwater tears.
As far as the book goes. It was hilarious and I enjoyed it from the first chapter all the way though the credits!!
I guess if you asked what category it belongs in I’d have to say the sci-fi/dark fantasy/superhero/religious fiction/adult porn genre. Yes he hits them all.
Jeffery Kafer’s rock solid voice talents are the icing on this cake, although it makes me wonder if they edit his voice somehow to make it deeper. I would think someone with a “penguin penis” would be an alto.
Overall a fantastic book to listen to. I’d highly recommend both books if you’re not easily offended by murder, cursing, chauvinism, blood & guts..well, you get the point.
Thanks I can’t wait for the next installment. I think I’ll even pay for that one….
