This was an enjoyable series, I love this narrator so it was a pleasant listen.
It was not clear to me if this series was complete or not, to be honest, I felt like it was incomplete at the end.
The story follows a large cast, with various sub stories taking place.
With any large cast, there is a wide array of different characters and although sometimes confusing, it also keeps the pace running. There are many multifaceted characters, some not that likeable and certainly making the story realistic. I liked that there were so many people with different views and opinions, even when some were irritating, I was somewhat surprised at the subtle, negative undertone towards women from a female author and although I wasn’t particularly in love with any of the characters, overall, it is a good listen.
