The book was okay and has some genuinely good parts, however overall it felt lacking. I got the book on sale, so I certainly got the value out of it.
There are continuity issues I just couldn’t get over that would’ve made it a great listen if they weren’t there. I think it could have been corrected with less time dilation. The plot, characters, and concepts are good and the mechanics for the game were well done. The voice acting could’ve used more directing, but the characters are distinguishable and mostly pronounced. All things considered, I’m glad I bought it, but I will not continue the series.
