Would you try another book from Bobby Akart and/or Kevin Pierce?
The cost per hour for this one is very high. One credit or about $10 for just over four hours is very expensive when compared to others that are newer and have better content.

The story isn’t terrible, but the sterilized subject matter and obvious targeting of adolescent youths is a major turnoff. So much so, that I quit an hour into this book. I will not finish this volume or the series. If I wanted a “tween” story, I would have downloaded Twilight or Harry Potter. This is kindergarten BS.

What does Kevin Pierce bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I will give props to the narrator. Kevin Pierce is awesome, and he’s the reason I tried it in the first place. I should have done more research on the author first.
What character would you cut from Zero Hour?
All of them. We need a stronger protagonist and supporting actors with balls. These are a bunch of whiney babies.
