Dry and repetitive. The first book in the series picked up a bit at the end but this one didn’t have that going on. The characters are very one dimensional and the entire book is basically describing a single battle with no character development or any reason to care about anyone.
Everyone is “the best the confederation has ever seen” and people seem to know that by watching a blinking light on their displays.
I won’t be listening to book 3.
