If you believe that kindness and love will save the world, this isn’t the book for you.

This series focuses on a man who does bad things to BAD people. He’s good man doing bad things that other survivors can’t or won’t do. He’s definitely someone you want on your side, but not someone to fear unless you are the BAD guy, Connor isn’t a hero, not a leader, not friendly nor forgiving, but he is a BAD ASS.

I get tired of authors in this genre sugar coating reality; interjecting themes of redemption or forgiveness, adding lessons on morality in a world without morality. Sometimes in life (i.e., the apocalypse) you come across bad people and in times like that you need men (and women) of action, not words and hesitation.
