Seriously, the best thing about this book was the cover art, which is an incredibly cool picture. The story itself is pretty much a big ugh ?. I almost gave myself a headache rolling my eyes so much at the utterly boring and juvenile romance between the two supposedly mature adults (one a doctor, no less which, I don’t know why, but I would think would be maybe a little bit more mature than the rest of us (ha!)).
I did like the little girl Rose, and the creepy supernatural part had so much potential, but I think the author could or should have developed this aspect and given it a much larger place in the story.
I would not recommend this book, and I am sorry I wasted my time listening to it.
