I would have to agree with the majority of the previous reviews that this does not have much action but I thoroughly enjoy this book. The best way I would describe it is the show Friends but in space. You wanted to know about the development of the main character Ishmael. I’ll get the whole series esp since it is on sale.
I wish the narrator had more variety in his ability to distinguish between each character but his voice is pleasant enough that I did not mind.
