I’m beginning to distrust Audible’s ratings and reviews. This was a DNF for me. Gave up about a third of the way. This was written as though the core demographic was 13 year old D&D nerds. And yes I get the irony, and yes I used to be one, but I’ve read far smarter LitRPG books that did the genre far far better. To be far the author did a preset decent job of describing what an actual game-play on this world would look like, but the constant stat and window reads were tedious. The narrator was fine, no complaints there. Overall I give it a solid ‘Meh’ and a ‘this is too juvenile for me’ rating. On to better worlds.
