I thought this would be more about the software and the NSO group and less a story about the journalists patting their backs for doing a good job. Don’t get me wrong investigative journalism is important, but definitely very little in the way of learning about Pegasus and its story. NSO and its software is both fascinating and terrifying, but this book did not live up to that story. So if someone is looking for a good true technological thriller similar to Countdown to Zero day or Sandworm to name a few, this is far far far from it.
