While the character of Boxy and his two demon familiars are still entertaining, the author all but ruined the storyline when he brought in Fizzy the Gnome. It wasn’t her character, but what he did to her. While the demons engaged in consensual debauchery, what the author did to the character of Fizzy was nothing but rape. The books thus far had been basically a dark comedy. There is nothing funny about someone contemplating suicide after being repeatedly brutalized. The method he used to “fix” the issues seemed almost like an afterthought.
