I have only missed one of the five books in this series, the 4th, and each and everyone has been an absolute delight! The woman, in this book Fiona who bakes and sells baked goods to the community to help support her ranching family. A neighbor, a”Ed Sullivan” is buying up the land around them and driving them out of business.
Fiona decides the only thing to do is hire a hit man. And so she meets Ronin who she thinks is a hired killer and fun really begins.
If I’m not laughing I am certainly smiling through out the audio. Angie Hickman is so perfect with the mix of innocence sweetness and vulnerability. She does a great job with the men’s voices as well.
An eccentric and loving family are backdrops.
These are fun, short and wonderful books. Get them all and the audio! You will never regret it!
