I have to admit that until around chapter 15, I was starting to lose my patience and had growing frustration. I felt like it was almost a retelling of Book 1, just changing the names of the bad guys, and the location. But something happens, somewhere around Chapter 15, that ties everything together and “uncloaks” the epic-ness of N.R. Walker’s vision. Once that happened, any negative feelings I had about the first part of the book were gone. I can’t hold any of that against the book as a whole at all. There may be SOMETHING the author could have done to let the reader know from the beginning that SOMETHING was coming, but I frankly don’t care anymore. All I care about is how much I LOVE this story; how much I LOVE the characters; and how much I LOVE N.R. Walker.
