The start to book 1 was really very excellent. In my opinion it has been downhill since then. There is so much filler that I’m starting to think the 10 books could probably have been 3 without losing much. I’m starting to wish I had stopped listening when the kid fell from the cliff. Everything until that point was really great.
I am going to go relisten to A Wizard of Earthsea to clean my fantasy audiobook palette a bit.
