Great fiction series from an author who knows how to keep the reader engaged. Elements: excitement, sadness, suspense, blood and guts (seriously, plenty of blood and guts), and satisfaction that justice (God’s plan) prevails. Mark Goodwin keeps the apocalyptic books flowing, and they do all have the same theme, but with different characters from different walks of life; enough differences from one series to the next to keep things interesting.
