Truly different take on this genre that is Really, really good!!Literally every apocalyptic happening was something out of what’s described in Revelation during the tribulation…fires, water/flooding, disease, unrepentantly angry violent people here called zombies. The effects of the ride of the 4 horsemen on the SAME CAST in each one was outstanding in the literal and figurative sense. I lived through a severe flooding during a rainstorm, so the descriptions “triggered” memories. Yet the characters are completely scientific or philosophic in their outlooks rather than religious in any capacity. Ellen Chang’s character is truly the connecting piece, so I’m super glad I was able to listen to all 5 back2back. Tom Abrahams is now truly 1 of my all-time favorite authors. Combining his skills with Kevin Pierce’s narration is a winning team, hands down. Definitely worth a re-listen!! It would be interesting to read a “short” about Lane’s meeting with Marcus Battle from Marcus’s point of view.
