It started off heading for a 5 star story. Plausible scenario. Realistic prepper (the struggle is real getting family on board) that had to balance life now vs prepping for SHTF. The scene with Olivia and the food drive made me think this was going to be real.
Inexplicably the story took several turns that went nowhere and just fractured. Puck clairvoyance? Went nowhere (and shouldn’t have been there). Dante? ridiculous. And then a whole crew of weirdos between the farm and camp but seems no one knew?
I almost wish the author could delete the last book, and start over and fix it. She started so well.
