The narration is fantastic as always, I love Soundbooth Theater. Unfortunately the story is not that great. The description is a bit misleading. The necromancer wakes up and is after knowledge, he wants to read books, explore the city, etc. He loves puns and the book is full of them to the point it gets old fast.
I did like the characters, the MC, his undead servant and the limpet but I feel like the story about them could have been so much more than what it actually was. I don’t plan to listen to the next book when it comes out.
