Okay I’ll start by saying I’m a big fan of the Hellraiser film series, I always have been interested in reading the books but never took the time to do so. I finally decided to use my monthly credit to purchase the Hellbound Heart, I have to say I was very pleased. The film and the book have a few minor differences but for the most part they are the same. I would definitely say if your a fan of the films you’d love the book. I have to say I enjoyed the book because it gives a more personalized look into the characters lives and what they’re thinking. I would also like to say I thought the narration was spot on, I enjoyed the sound effects and voices used for the other characters. Overall if your a fan of the series then definitely give the Hellbound Heart a listen, you’ll walk away feeling you have a better insight of the franchise and all the characters.
