Tyron is made to be self-sabotaging. It’s confusing how he can justify a horrible action on second then pretend he is in a moral dilemma for having to do what anyone else would the next. It gets annoying when it starts feeling like it’s there to drag the story a long. Destroying souls is okay but self-defense isn’t. It makes him seem like a more digesting and selfish person. It’s just about how he’s feeling THEN. And at this point he is holding on to Dove because he can. And Dove as a character should know that, but it’s literally written off. He’d make for a great magistrate.
