There was a lot I did not like, but it was overshadowed by what I did like. As to dislikes, Wyatt was definitely not believable as a being a former navy seal, Megan made so many bad decisions and whined so much it really became irritating, many situations were unbelievable, and there was way too much of drawn out descriptions of mundane thoughts and situations.
Having said that, if you persevere, the characters grow on you and there is enough realism and adventure that it makes a fun read. Also, a real plus to me was that while the book contained the requisite violence of an apocalypse, it did not have any gratuitous highly descriptive violence or gore that so many less talented authors feel the need to include to overshadow the fact that they are lacking in writing talent.
All in all, it was a good book and I’m glad I found and read it.
