She’s a bratty teenager w constant tantrums. I get she’s mad but all she does is seethe and snap. She has a cutting response to everything Reed says and does. And it bothers him so much it’s tedious to listen to. We are obviously supposed to like Reed- author does a good job of accomplishing that . And then half the book is listening to a surly holier than thou brat emotionally abuse him, for lack of a better phrase.
If she isn’t going to grow or evolve or listen or move forward in the story with him then GET RID OF HER! She’s an anchor, weighing the whole storyline down, preventing you from being carried along with it.
