I was less than thrilled with it for the first hour or so. But given the lack of anything else to listen to, and I went back. It became much more engaging once the actual crime (versus the historical fabric) became apparent and examined. Munchaussens is barely known/understood even today. It really hides in the shadows of parenting and society’s need to believe in mothers and to pretend mental health isn’t a real thing. I’m glad this case gets publicity, that Tanya did get convicted. Hopefully some infant someday will be rescued as a result.
