- If you could sum up Chase Baker and the Vikings’ Secret in three words, what would they be?
- Fun. Quick. Adventure.
- Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
- The plot didn’t necessarily keep me on the edge of my seat, but it was definitely an enjoyable ride. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the runestone and a bit of the back history surrounding it. Chase Barker, Bayou (sp.) and the neo-Nazis kept things moving along and lead the reader on a fun adventure.
- What about Andrew B. Wehrlen’s performance did you like?
- Andrew Wehrlen delivers another solid performance as Chase Barker. He does an excellent job bringing the characters to life and reads with an easy to follow cadence. He handles the various characters well too, so I’m never left wondering which character is talking.
- If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
- Modern day Indiana Jones. The reason that I say this is that the Chase Barker series involve humor, adventure, ancient civ/artifacts and a good story. Even though this a shorter novella length, it doesn’t feel rushed or like it’s missing something. Each story feels like a standalone and I never feel like they missed the mark by leaving holes in the story.
