The story is really good. But
why, at the end of book 3, does Sky have to start caring for the werewolves? They are horrible people. And no way would she start feeling romantic feelings for such a mean, hateful, narcissistic, bully like Ethan. He has no redeeming qualities. He’s an emotionless child.
The rest of them are as cruel, self centered and unfeeling as Ethan. I have one book left and I really hope it ends with all of the supernaturals losing their powers including the ability to shift.
I like that the vampires are portrayed as soulless monsters with brief hints at humanity that prove to be no more than passing thoughts. That is what they’re supposed to be.
