Snowbound is a great mix of character development, action and plot advancement. The characters have some depth, are likable and relatable. The plot moves keeping the action coming at a steady clip making keeping the reader engaged, but is developed so that the story isn’t just a jumble of action scenes. The writing is excellent and does a great job of pulling the reader an and helping them feel like a part of the story. Finally, as usually Crouch has a trick up his sleeve at the end which, as usual, is a bit predictable before you get there but is still fun none the less. Overall, I really enjoyed this story and I think fans of Blake Crouch will enjoy it too.
Mr. Kafer does a great job with the narration and really helps bring the story to life.
