I have not read anything by this author, but I really liked the description so I thought I will give it ago.
I am happy to say that I am glad that I picked this book up. I have listened to all three books, so you need to read them in order to understand what is going on. Book one and two do end on a cliffhanger and book three ties everything up.
The first book is a bit more predictable but it was full of suspense and mystery. As soon as I finished this one I moved onto the next book.
There is no sexual content but there is some profanity (not a lot) and violence.
I would recommend this book!
