What did you like best about this story?
I loved the progression of the Mimic as well as the interaction of his familiars. A great storyline that just kept me interested and did not slow down.
What does Jeff Hays bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrator (Jeff Hays) does a marvelous job. He does a great job of differentiating the characters so you always know who is speaking (one of my biggest pet peeves in audiobooks). Plus one for the Cartman-esque voice for the Mimic…loved it.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
SNACK!
Any additional comments?
Ignore the publishers summary. It has nothing to do with the overall book. In fact it took me a few chapters to figure out what the heck was going on but once I did I loved it. Really hope the author continues to write more like this.
