Books 1 & 2 were incredible and I could hardly wait to listen to 3 & 4. Zero character consistency and there is too much plot manipulation, like book 4 was meant to go a certain way and then was radically changed on a whim before publishing. Book 4 was not very good, I enjoyed the developing romance side plot. Though other than that, book 4 was underwhelming and disappointing. Even the cliff hanger ending left me annoyed rather than happily in suspense.
I have to say Travis Baldree is always incredible though.
