They basically made a side game with pokemon / Yugioh this entire book and kept having continuity errors like “you can’t have spells and cards” and later they are using spells and cards and the same time, or they keep changing how to pronounce a word and all the characters are getting dumber by the minute to the point where if carl says he doesn’t know what 5X5 is I wouldn’t even be surprised anymore. Or there is the wasting time that LITRPG books do with stats that this book is starting doing with the cards where it is going to list every card they’ve collected. Or the audio just being bad in this book compared to the previous titles. Or the issues with CONSTANT language barriers and almost once a chapter something is talking in another language and you have no clue what is being said unless you either know multiple languages or want to look it up even though there is a universal translator that is supposed to make it so everything is understood as English.
I hope this is the only book in the series that is this bad.
