This is the 20th litrpg genre book i have listened to in The last 3 months. I am really captivated by this genre and think i will continue on to another one.
I say that only to give perspective to how good this one is. Some of the titles have been rather bad, if entertaining, and hardly worth the time not to mention the money i spent on them.
Challenge was fun to listen to, had believable game mechanics and decent characters. Some of them may not have been created in depth but they served their purpose to the story. The monsters were also well made and believable for a game as well.
If you have never tried a litrpg before or are a return customer like myself i feel confidant that this one will be worth your time.
Lastly a word about the narrator. Jeff Hays has done more then a few of the books i have listened to recently and as always his performance is top notch. Judging by the number of books of this type he has narrated he must be a fan of them himself, and it shows in his work.
