There’s not much more to this holiday novella than what’s in the summary. This goes from adorable meet-cute to “they do exist” revelations (ala the M&Ms vs Santa commercial) to Agent Mark popping by after a time jump and the two immediately heading to Neil’s for a blink and you might miss it sex scene. Then, voila! Instant couple.
The series running gag about the agency’s supernatural love of cookies is always fun,
but there wasn’t much beyond the cookie cutter playbook to make this holiday quickie memorable.
Other than Mark’s agency team, none of the series couples make appearances here.
Mr. Leslie’s voicing for Mark and Neil was so similar that I had trouble at times figuring out who’s POV was on.
