I regret buying this book and I got it on sale for $5. It’s that bad. To start with, the story begins with the MC being born, and he’s aware the whole time. Okay, weird start, but whatever. Then he turns into the most overpowered toddler you’ve ever seen. His adventure starts when he’s 4 because he becomes so powerful his parents have nothing left to teach him. Then he goes on to best a bunch of grown ups in battle. Has this author ever met a toddler?? Or seen one? They don’t have the hand eye coordination to successfully button a shirt, let alone sword fight with grown men. And that doesn’t even get into their cognitive development. Even with “magic” this story is just annoying in how impossible it is. The author could have started the adventure segment when the MC was 10 and I would have gone with it, still young, but at least that’s an age when kids have actual motor skills. In addition to being an overpowered baby, the MC is also just creeping on little girls, all the time. This is a 28 yr man who has been shoved into a kids body and he now has a prepubescent harem following him around. It’s creepy. He’s also just overpowered, period. He has mastery over everything he does, he doesn’t really work for anything, or overcome any significant hurdles. It’s boring. The writing in general is boring, the side characters have no real depth, the locations are barely described and then glossed over, and if there is any real point to this story I didn’t find it. The only good thing about this book was the narrator.
