Ignore the “it’s just a training mantage” reviews. having listened to all five books back to back, this book simply continues a fantastic story in the same vein. Yes there is training involved, but it is handled in the same manner as the other books; giving enough discription to explain but not enough to give every new ability away or to become boring. The training shifts and changes frequently and you learn more and more about the world as it does. Perspective changes help fill in the gaps between what the main character is doing and the loves of the side characters. If I were to be hyper critical I would simply say it’s a “middle book” that is necessary but not as exciting as the book that came before it. However I enjoyed the book far to much to be that critical. If you enjoyed the first four books go ahead and grab this one.
