Leslie Wolfe has done it again. While recuperating from the stab wound that nearly killed her in ‘The Watson Girl’, Special Agent Tess Winnett unofficially begins consulting with local detectives to catch a serial killer. This killer begins terrorizing his victims by giving them a glimpse of death before abducting them. The investigation becomes more intriguing and frustrating as the case becomes more puzzling.

Ms. Wolfe uses a method that was entirely unique to me to find a suspect that no one seems to be able to describe. She wove together a coherent plot and had them catch the suspect with credibility. Andrew Tell does a terrific job once again of narrating the story. He makes it so easy to listen as he manages to voice each character differently.

I love the evolution of the teamwork and growing friendship between Tess and her local detective team. I look forward to many more investigations with them.

This audiobook was gifted to me but posting a review is my choice. I really enjoy Leslie Wolfe’s books and purchase everyone of them. The Audible book just lets me enjoy the book easier by being able to listen to it when I can’t read.
