I really really really like these books.
I don’t know what it is. I don’t at all.
The books are so exposition-y.
Its like a story told by my wife. where we are introduced to the characters and then before each character speaks their motivations are explained in detailed short stories that are traumatic and overall more information then i actually need to develop the characters.
but…
I actually love this book.
At this moment where im typing a seemingly negative review of this book, i’m actually gunning through the book.
Its such a creative world of what people would do if dropped in to a RPG fantasy world ( not the most accurate but basically what the book is) would do while leveraging smart applications of the real world to magic.
take a shot at this book. I promise you there will be points where you roll your eyes and go please just get on with it, but you will not be able to put it down.
