Maybe 3.5 stars because Soundbooth narrated it.

It never drew me in to where I had to keep listening. I don’t want to write a bad review… but can’t write a glowing one either. The story is pretty mid. Soundbooth Theater always turns out solid work. So the narration in the story isn’t an issue. A few areas where sound effects didn’t fit just right, and were annoying. I’ve never expected them to be Travis Baldree. But they always do a 4 star or better performance.

Anyway; I don’t know if I care to move on to the next book. I will have to give it some time; and see if the story sticks in my memory enough to make me want to return to it. I never once wanted to be in this world. Immersion was never achieved. I thought about dropping it a couple times… but stuck in there till the end.
