There is so much that can be said about this story. So many different things to convince you that this is 100% worth your time. To keep things simple, I will just state a couple of things to try not to ruin the story. The characters are well written, and act in a believable fashion for what is going on around them. They have amazing growth and depth (Having read all 6 books out) and have a great character arc. The quips, and oddities, had me looking like a fool laughing to myself over and over while listening. The story is compelling and I have to admit that it does a fantastic job of having Carl and Donut do things that were not the obvious choice, and keep the reader (listener) guessing. Beyond the amazingly compelling story with surprising world building, the narrator was fantastic. The voice acting just made the funny lines, moments, and even the tragic ones, elevate to the next level. I cannot recommend this series enough. Worth every second of my time. Enjoy the read!
