Book one had much more promise than this.
Even if it’s short, it should have a well thought out ending (along with the other too brief instances).

Not sure about moving on to book 3. I think I will research thoroughly, and read a ton of reviews before a possible purchase.

These 2-3 hour novella type books that are interspersed in a series of the usual 8-10-ish hour long books should be a bonus to the reader.
Yes, such snippets are but a view through the window – but – that view should be psychedelic, filled with information to tease the reader into purchasing the next book(s).
The flow of the storyline should comfort us. All the way to the end.
Not left feeling as we’ve been cut off at the knee, stumbling over the last few paragraphs as if the “ending” door has been slammed in our faces before we -feel- the end.
